Video: Landing the LevelD 767 at KMDW

Hello folks, after having a little break from flightsim i thought i should post a video while approaching and landing at KMDW from KLGA. I used live ATC from KJFK tower as i couldnt find any streams from Midway at the moment i was landing.

I know this is not the best video out there and i know some of you may find it a bit boring, but i'll post it anyway

Using Track IR, Ultimate Terrain: USA, Level D 767, Flytampa KMDW (No kidding

) and FS Passengers

I know that there are some ground flickering while taxiing at midway in the end of the video, have not had that problem before, but will look into it

Its not that hard really, just don't load up with too much fuel and its no problem, the real problem comes when you start taxiing

Like the video, but i have a couple of questions for you. I flew into KMDW not using the flytampa scenery (will purchase soon), and i am running ultimate scenery usa but my surrounding scenery does not look like yours as you approached midway. Are you running anything else?

As far as i know i'm using Ultimate Terrain: USA only in that area, but i adjusted it to display as much autogen as possible

is that something you can do right from the UT setup, or do you have to edit a config file? if this is possible, do you mind just sending me a message. I have all me settings set to the highest possible, so i am just curious how you got yours to look so good. Actually, the reason i got so interested in UT is by the looks of the scenery from your video.

you are running FS 2004 in your video correct.

Yes, this is FS9 only.

just disable as much of those night lights as possible, they take up most of the autogen, also check the Adjust City/Town landclass and the Add detailed land areas options.

Also use the enhanched roads option.

The good looking stuff around the airport is part of the Fly Tampa scenery, that's probably why yours doesn't look the same. Of course, you may have purchased it by now and figured that out...
