I have had the FT midway scenery for a while now, and I love it. I was just thinking about how the runway textures and taxiway lines look slightly grayish in color as compared to the real airport. In real life the textures feature dark black lines for the taxiway lines and heavy dark marks for the runways, like at your seattle. also midway now has a new parking garage, as well. Is it possible to have such an update?

This video shows what i am talking about
and could you make the option of changing the hangars to southwest as well and offer more traffic around the perimeter, like at the FlightZone Portland or mega airport Frankfurt.

lol I know. I am really focused on detail. Why not update current sceneries instead of focusing on new ones. The airports are nice, just not current.

Unfortunately that doesn't make good business sense and let's not forget that FT is a business first.

Reworking old sceneries has limited appeal to developers because there is only so much visual improvement that can be squeezed out of them without reworking the whole thing completely. Not to say it never happens, we did it with KMIA, KBOS, partially with others too.

All it would need is a texture update for the runway touchdown marks, the taxiway perimeters and and the updated traffic.

Updated traffic? You can do that yourself, if you are talking about AI traffic!! Just head on over to Avsim.com and download some flightplans and repaints.....

I understand your request but keep in mind that in the overall scope it is a sand of grain. KTPA is utterly outdated, so is KMIA and KSAN. KSFO had a terminal demolished, KSEA is supposed to get a new runway, LOWW has a new terminal and another runway planned... there are changes at almost every airport that we ever made. KMDW is one that has the least issues as far as out-of-date-real-life goes. Then there is the issue of them all needing a massive rework for FSX, at the same time the majority of users wants new airports where there are no Addons.
Let me put it this way, the KMDW scenery would not exist if I put my efforts on keeping specific airports up to date. By the time I'm done building airport nr 2, airport 1 needs an update, it becomes a cycle between 2 or 3, nothing new would ever get done.
Again, I'm not saying updates don't happen, just trying to put it in the overall perspectives I (and probably every other developer) face. Many of our sceneries did get updated, most twice (versions 1.2)

I think FT KMDW is one of the best looking FS9 airports ever done, still to this day.
It blew my mind when I sat at the gate and seen people moving inside the terminal......
