KMDW conflict with..?

Post by I.J. » Sat Mar 31, 2007 5:14 am

Hi everybody.
I've got these 2 large "autogen free" rectangular zones north and south to KMDW. When I desable the scenery autogen objects come back. I don't remember have installed any other scenery in the area exept Simflyers KORD, but I obviously have. My question is: Have anybody had this kind of conflict and does anybody remember what it was with? I could then download that (those) scenery(s) and search for their .BGL's in my FS. Any suggestions are welcome.
Thanks,
Iouri

You mean just by disabling our KMDW the autogen comes back? Thats odd. In your shot, is that KMDW you're facing?

I.J.,

Did you ever solve this problem?

I just bought Midway and have the same problem. I do not have other addons installed in the US area except for all the FlyTampa sceneries.

Sorry, Henning, no.
I really have no idea of what it could be. Maybe something in our FS9.cfg? Anyway, I'm happy now I'm not alone

No, it definitely is not the sf9.cfg. I've just let the FS rebuild it - that didn't help.

I found it.

In my case the problem is caused by the file WindsackMVMeigs.bgl.

This file is very strangely included with a commercial european scenery of the city of Berlin. The scenery is called "VFR Berlin 2006" and is by Aerosoft.

Removing this file solves the problem.

I'll try asking at Aerosofts forum what this file is for in the Berlin scenery.

Bravo Henning!!!
That was my case too. Whatever WindsackMVMeigs.bgl does, I prefere to miss some "windsacs" in the Berlin area as long as I don't have to land in a desert in the middle of Chicago.
Cheers,
Iouri.
