Tree halos at TFFJ

Post by Cruachan » Mon Apr 23, 2007 12:08 pm

Hi,

Is it just me?

If not, is there a way of fixing this problem?

Thanks.

From page 9 of the pdf

Trees have rendering problems especially at St Barts.

This can happen if you use an Autogen tree replacement texture which is not in DXT1
format. The scenery was made with the default tree texture in mind
(FS9/texture/treesSU.bmp). Either restore the original texture file that came with FS9, or
convert your replacement texture to DXT1 format.

More about it here viewtopic.php?t=2263

Not sure why the image is not displaying :(

It's only 93 KB in size and the syntax for the link appears ok to me.

BTW, can you suggest why I appear to be unable to get my image to display?

If I paste the link into IE7 it displays without any problem, so there must be another explanation.

Strange, now your picture displays, have no clue why.

Curiouser and curioser.

I note at the side of the Edit window that HTML is OFF. Does that make a difference?

Both HTML and BBCode are set to be allowed under my Profile.
