Battle of the Airports
Wilco has one. It is better then SF's LAX IMO. And, at least for me, am not asking for LAX first. Just for LAX!
Edit: Wilco also has an LAX, but it is of much poorer quality then SF. And very FPS heavy.
Edit2: Let me repharse, the contridicting post happens when I have consumed too much caffine
I was trying to say that they both suck. Each has it's good points, but outweighed by the FPS or dull textures. I havent used wilco's or SF's in a good while, but from what I can remember, I think I liked wilco's a bit more then I did SF's. I do know that wilco had a good denver too.

As I do most of my flying in the South West USA I have to vote LAX.
Now I know we have 2 or 3 pay and freeware versions but my judgement is based on this;
In FS I regularily fly from (Simflyers) KLAS to (Fly Tampas) KSAN and vice versa. Every time I arrive at (Fly Tampas) KSAN I get that feeling of total and virtual emersion, something that KLAS (although really good) just can't quit match.
I would just love a KLAX from Fly Tampa (can't wait for KSEA!!!)
Cheers,
Boone

Now your just bashing SF for the hell of it if you think Wilco's FS2000 version of SFO is better than SF's LAX. Give me a break. :roll:Pilot3033 wrote:Wilco has one. It is better then SF's LAX IMO. And, at least for me, am not asking for LAX first. Just for LAX!

Hi,
>>>LSZH/LOWW- FS9 verisons available already at Simarket.com
Where? Can only find LOWW. The only LSZH available is from FlyLogic
and not done very well.
My favorites:
1. LSZH
2. YSSY
3. Kai Tak
Would love to see Kai Tak in FlyTampa Quality, the FlightSoft version has major flaws.
Just my 2 (euro) cents.

Yup i wrote this! I was talking about LSZH (Zürich) which is located in swiss and NOT part of austrian airports. For shure you just read my post not exactly.
Thats the reason why LSZH is my favourite.

Sorry, that's not exactly correct (except LOWW). LSZH exist in two available Products (MICE and Flylogic), but, the are both absolutely out of actually scenerie design standards! The MICE LSZH-Scenerie is based on the first release for FS98. Also the Flylogic LSZH! They looks like made for FS98, but they are FS9 Versions. Only the buildings and airport layouts has been updated. The framerates are very bad.
Many european flightsimmers are waiting for a accurate LSZH scenerie since years ago.
Zurich LSZH offers a interesting airport layout and the approaches and departings are very diversified.
You'll see traffic from the smallest GA-planes up to the largest airliners like the 747's.
Now that the 5. upgrading phase of the airport has been finished it will be a perfect moment to recreate this fascinating airport for FS9.
I have voted for LSZH.....
best regards, Mike

I also agree with Mike! We desperately need a good version of Zurich Airport. There have been a number of attempts - including freeware - to make this airport look real in FS9, but none of them was a real stunner. The freeware version made by Richard Mohler was quite good, but it was never made compatible to FS9. As a potential visitor to LSZH, I ask you to do this airport in the well-known FlyTampa quality! I´m already looking forward to it!
