ORD jetway fix

I just re-installed the scenery today and noticed this as an option during the installation. What is it all about?

I think you use it if you have the Simflyers KORD installed.

Other way around..

The ORD jetway tweak is for the default ORD.

What happens is default ORD has 40+ default jetways and these MS default jetways render from up to 40nm away (costing performance at KMDW). The jet tweak I made replaces all ORD jetways with identical visual models, that have a much lower visibility and are therefore not processed from as far away as KMDW. The only difference you would see at ORD is that the default jets pop out at a certain distance.

Nice, I wonder if this fix worked when I originally installed MDW, I've had SF ORD installed at that time but I've uninstalled it a day or two after FT's MDW. Do you think it worked originally?

Think so yes. The ORD tweak does not modify any default files anywhere. Its just a bgl that sits in the local KMDW folder and affects default ORD. If SF ORD is active and later removed it works as well.
