Las Vegas - Missing Building?

Post by HamsterDR » Mon Jul 27, 2020 2:56 pm

One of the really beautiful buildings in downtown Las Vegas is the Smith Center for the Performing Arts. (Image attached). This building seems to be missing from the Las Vegas FlyTampa scenery. The Design Center is present, and close by the Smith Center, so it isn't outside the area being modeled. Any possibility of an update that adds this building?

It would be nice to add that building.

You could also add the Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health - just down the road from the Smith Center and also not modeled in the scenery. Of course, this was designed by Gehry and is really ugly.

I think it might take another year to do both buildings in question but who knows. Any other missing building?

I haven't noticed anything else. I have been a Broadway Season Ticket holder for the Smith center since they first opened (they are completely closed now because of the virus). One thing that was very nice was this facility - the inside is very nice also. It was designed in a modern Art Deco style - using the Hoover Dam Art Deco style as inspiration.
