The (in)official FS9-begging-thread

Post by f0x » Sat Jun 13, 2015 4:43 am

Hey guys!

To give george and his team a rough idea of how many potential customers they have on this board that are looking for a lightweight-version of FlyTampa's newest YSSY scenery for FS9, I open this thread so that you guys can make a sign too and hope your voices will be heard. ;)
Side note: We do not want any "FS9 is dead, move to P3d"-argument here!

So to FlyTampa:
Consider me a definite buyer of a version for FS9!

@Benncpp15

Shouldn't you be posting to another thread about OOM's and low FPS? :wink:

Now serious: this is just a polite question for Flytampa and we didn't ask for someone's opinion who is using FSX. You have your new airport already so I don't get your problem.

No OOMs at Sydney yet. Only done the one flight PMDG NGX but loved it.

Not sure that many FS9 niners come to a forum that allows the behaviour of children like our Benn :)

George knows that pretty much all FS niners would be after his scenery. It is just a question of whether he wishes to make it work.

Yes No OOMS for me either as compared to Toronto which I could hardly even load let alone fly. Must be something to do with overload of Vector information on the American continent vs Oceania I reckon.

Toronto does have a much great hit from Orbx's Vector.

Shouldn't it be the unofficial, not inoffical?

Even though I will likely buy the FSX version anyway for my Steam install, I would welcome an FS9 version too. The thought of a FlyTampa-quality version of that airport teeming with AI traffic and 30 locked fps at the completion of a long-haul flight is very appealing.
