Texture switching along the runway

Hi guys,

first of all thanks for this stunning airport. It is (as all of your work) incredible !
There is just a minor thing which I find a little bit disturbing and which I noticed when landing on RWY24R the other day.

At several places the grass textures along the runway are switching quite noticeable when approaching them. I suppose this has to do with the LOD. Just one example in the screenshots where the color changes from brownish to rather green. I know that in the screenshots it doesnt look very dramatic, but "live" the dynamic switching is really a bit distracting as the color changes. My zoom setting is 0.40 and so far I havent noticed that on other airports.

Is there something which could be done about it. I mean its not a big issue at all, but would be nice of course..

Its the Volumetric grass LODs. They are more noticeable when zoomed out.

Would increasing the LOD switching distance have a major performance impact ?

In my testing, I could leave the grass on all the time without any difference. But it might affect people without I7s and 1080s because there are 10,000s of grass polygons.
