Thank you.

AES will be available next weekend or around the end of this month.

I am not a big fan of AES because I own GSX, which would do the same job if the jetways would move. I don't own any other airport where AES would be of use, so buying AES would effectively raise the price for CYUL by 50% for me.
CYUL is the first payware airport (of quite a few) that I own where the jetways cannot be moved out of the box :-(

Something else: I experienced a technical problem with CYUL on the approach to rwy 24R. Several strange yellow-green textures hovered over the airport, which look a bit like a sonar picture. They stayed there for almost the entire approach. Does anybody else have this problem?

We are supporting AES because they provide support for custom jetways. GSX doesn't.
Animated jetways can cause some slowdown & stuttering. Plus the IK animations in FSX are disappointing in quality. (jerky & not precise)

The Sonar effect can be removed by re-installing & un-ticking the 3d Mist. For some reason, it doesn't render well on all Videocards.

+1 on continuing to provide us FS9 users with fantastic airports....

Man I fear not telling the wife how much money I have injected into getting all these developed airports, she's already on my case for how much time I spend "playing" with it....... :D :D :D

Hello, folks: I guess others have talked about this, and I apologize if it's been addressed already, but two cents, if I may, George & Martin, please - is we have a whole lot of growth in the use of DX10 thanks to Steve Parsons' work in continuing the development of the DX10 Shaders code. The Avsim forum is growing in leaps and bounds, and is now making headway in other forums, too.
FSDreamteam builds compatible airports: SimAddons builds compatible airports: almost all of the Orbx world is compatible, (some devs even mentioning this). A couple of your airports are compatible, too, but why oh why would you not cater to this growing market of simflyers, who fly commercial jets, with a compatible CYUL Montreal? Halifax and the east coast is there. FSDT has completed a beautiful CYVR Vancouver, and we were so very much looking forward to a masterpiece Montreal to fill out Canada for us DX10'ers. Could I assume you might consider this in a possible update, please?

Many Thanks & All the Best,

Paul J

I've never been a fan of DX10 Preview, its too Fisher Price looking for my eyes & we all know it was abandoned before the poor guy (Phil Taylor) had opportunity to complete it.

Has anything been fixed for DX10 that's worth while or is it just a few clipping taxiways & default scenery problems?
I'd be happy to support DX10 if it now worked. But the ways to make it work (for us) are not viable.

A Montreal patch for DX10 is very unlikely unless I'm missed a major breakthrough that could make ground polygons work under DX10 at night. We have to develop for FS9 too. Fs9 demand outnumbers DX10 by about 10,000 to 1.

P3D is perhaps a better option if you are using DX10 for a few fps.I just hope the P3D guys get it together & actually patch the mess Microsoft made, so we don't have customers spread out over all these varying unreliable versions of FS.

George Excellent scenery. I am just woundering how long will it be before there is a patch released for FS2004? I think in a previose post you said a week or so. Thanks again for a wounderfull peice of Montreal! any chance sometime down the road for OTTAWA? 8)

Its done. I've just been away a few days taking care of house work, computer upgrades etc.
It should be available this later week.
