Hi Martin,
Thank's for this update. For my old configuration, it's now much playable around the airport than before.
I now think to reintroduce some parts of the Dubai City
Do you have a list of all Dubai-city*.bgl files with their location on a map of Dubai City ?
Do the skyscrapers are on different bgl files from lower buildings ? If yes, do you have a list of the .bgl files including skyscrapers ?
Best regards,

Those BGLs are per area, not building types. The city/veg with the same numbers are for the same areas. I don't have a map, they were broken up mostly based on elevation changes so buildings wouldn't float or sink. Some Bgls cover large areas, but some are just thin strips near the water etc.

The Increased Taxisign visibility radius is the icing on the cake IMHO

Simply outstanding scenery Martin! I love, love love it! ....I am trying to work out whether I prefer flying in daylight or night.

Certainly the nighttime experience is exquisite. :D

Hello Martin copncerning AES Lite,

is there a possibility that AES Lite and AI ships will come for Dubai in the future?
I know you wrote that the performance would go down. But may be as an installation option for stronger pcs it would make sence.

Also is is not necessary that every street has AES lite wich highh traffic.

What can you say about that?

Hi Martin !

thanks a lot for the update ! together with the blurry light solution by Arthurair (why didn`t You implement it to the update !?) and the Burj - lights by Edetroit, OMDB has become the very best scenery (at least in FS9) now. The performance increase for me was 25% by the way, without any visible disadvantage !
I wish You a lot of financial success with that masterpiece and will advertise it wherever possible ...

I also had a slight frames advantage with the Std. Cessna on an empty airport ;) But I think will be the same with PMDG,Ifly etc.

Is there maybe a change to post an option to reduce the skyscrapers a bit? Without all skyscrapers in V2.0 I had full frames but something was missing. So maybe you could post something to give a way it will look okay (like the old version) but gives a performance boost.

Thanks for the work an the update anyway!!

For a V2.2 update, I suggest an option to remove all the city buildings except skyscrapers. I think skyscrapers are much less fps eater than lowest buildings of the city which are much greater in number. But it means a lot of work for Martin, not sure he'll do it.

Hi Martin,

Thanks much for the update. I'll need to amend my review.

I have a concern about the update though:

Decreased Jetways' visibility radius for Performance (FS9 only)
Decreased Vegetation visibility radius for Performance (FS9 only)

I assume this means these objects will dissapear faster as you move away from them?

If so, is there anyway to get the update without these 2 features? The more trees I can see in the distance the better the scenery looks. The same goes with the jetbidges. In fact, I wish the entire scenery could remain visable.

I know some of these fixes are for those with lower end systems, but for us with more powerful machines we would actually like to see more.

Besides, you worked very hard on this product and I hate that I cant see all of it from the airport where I spend 90% of my time whilst enjoying the scenery.

So back to my question, any way to get the update without these 2 mentioned features?
