Intallation problem

Post by npxk150 » Sun Mar 22, 2020 7:25 am

It is already 3 days we try to install the Athens airport.
We downloaded the recently Fly Tampa purchased software in a folder created on purpose.
We launch the Fly Tampa application and we receive the message that the setup was unable to auto-detect Prepar3D.
So we tried the alternative way by adding the scenary by hand within Prepar3D.
We launch Prepar3D software, go to settings, Scenery Library and click on button "Add Area"
Then we select the folder where we installed Fly Tampa Athens but it is still impossible to install it since we receive the following error message:

SCENERY.CFG file error.

Could not find scenery Area. Would you like to unload this area? YES NO

I am not a programmer, I cannot not understand why it is so difficult to install a software in 2020.
Please explain an easy way to install or refund the purchase
Thank you

When it fails to detect Prepar3d, there should be a button to browse to the correct folder. It needs pointing to the folder containing the prepar3d.exe.
Its usually in Program files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar 3d unless you specified your own install location.

I've been down this road for a week now. I followed the direction; pointed the installer at my p3d location, dice...then I added manually, no dice. I cannot get this scenery to work.
With FlyTampa libraries all the way up top, I get default scenery with some FlyTampa objects like you see here

This is with Amsterdam unchecked.

When I check Amsterdam I get this

and just to show you I'm not coo is my TNCM scenery from FlyTampa

Why Can't I get this to work?
