Compatibility with other Addons (FS9)

This is a Compatibility List for FS2004 Addons based on user reports and some testing of our own. I will keep this updated as new info & solutions emerge.

Please read carefully, in most cases setting the priority in the Scenery Database is not enough.

- Princess Juliana V1.2 by Delblond Christian (Freeware from Avsim)
Not compatible. Even if the freeware Juliana is set to a lower priority in the Scenery Database, the whole airport will get elevated without major visual problems apart from the beach and Aircraft "sinking" into the runway. (Problem Screenshot). Solution: Remove"Juliana" entry from Scenery Database.

- Flight1 Islands Of The West Indies
Not compatible unless a number of files are removed. See here: viewtopic.php?t=2199

- FranceVFR St. Maarten & St. Barts
Not (yet) compatible. Current workaround: Uninstall FranceVFR St. Maarten&Barts prior to installing FlyTampa-Maarten. If both are already installed, uninstall FranceVFR, re-run the FlyTampa-Maarten installation program a 2nd time.

- Eaglesoft FBOs
Not compatible. Even with EagleSoft FBOs set at a lower priority in the Scenery Database, a flatten problem occurs causing a white mesh-elevation on the apron (Problem Screenshot). Solution: Remove Eaglesoft FBO entry from Scenery Datbase.

- St-Barthélémy V1.2 by Delblond Christian (Freeware from Avsim)
Not compatible. Even if the freeware St. Barts is set to a lower priority in the Scenery Database, the airport will get elevated and objects from both sceneries appear at the same time, default runway sticks out into the water etc. (Problem Screenshot). Solution: Remove"Juliana" entry from Scenery Database.

-Caribbe North by Toni Agramont (Freeware from Avsim)
Not compatible. Regardless of priority in the Scenery Database, Caribbe North will place blocks of houses among other things on all 3 islands, Maarten, Barts, Saba. (Problem Screenshot 1, 2). Solution: Remove"Caribbe North" entry from Scenery Database.

-Grand Case by Delblond Christian (Freeware from Avsim)
Compatible (performance hit)

-St. Kitts by Delblond Christian (Freeware from Avsim)
Compatible

- TropicalSim Caribbean Sceneries
Unknown.

Having a problem with looks like ultimate traffic floating over the tarmac... is there something l could do? thanks

Have you eliminated all duplicate TNCM Afcads also the one from UT itself?

Its ok got it going, better than normal.. eliminated the shimming. carn`t wait for your next project..

With The Tropical Sim Carribean 6 I was having a problem with aircraft sinking into the runway at TNCM. I deactivated it and its fine now. Just a quick heads up. Other than that I had no problems.

Hello,

Bought your St. Maarten Bundle today(including the update) and made a backup from my IWI files as well. Must say: this is a really very good package!
I'm using TNCM often as a hub apt. The upgrade from IWI's TNCM is well worth!

For St. Maartan I deleted Juliana and it still doesnt work.But my St. Maartan is kind of at the bottom of the list could that be the prob.

I have my old St.Maarten scenery uninstalled long time ago and I dont know what to do!!! somebody please help me bad!!!

So far this problem has always been traced to remains of the freeware. Please do a Windows Search on your whole harddrive for "juliana.bgl".

omg! its not working even thought i deleted juliana.bgl files and i am appearing under the runway....please help someone! martin reponse as soon as possible.. I also have st.maarten version 1.0 not 1.1...if i get 1.1 installed i got black rectangles appearing behind the runway...

If you get rectangles on the runway ends with 1.1 it is either not installed correctly in the first place or the Installation serial nr. you received is blacklisted. This "not installed correctly" can cause all sorts of problems besides the rectangles.

To fix it, email me the Name you purchased under so I issue a new serial and download, plus a copy of your scenery.cfg for me to check for any incompatibilites.
