What's the easiest way installing Copenhagen in P3Dv4?
I just upgraded to P3Dv4 and FlyTampa Copenhagen being one of my favorite airports I would of course like to have it installed. However I'm a bit uncertain exactly how to go about the installation, what patches are required, in what order they should be applied etc. Such a superb scenery as FlyTampa...

Re: FlyAmsterdam v1.1
I can now answer my own question or at least part of it. Just found out without manually applying the afcad patch found in this thread on page 2 there's still no extendable jetway found at gate C18 after installing the full 1.1 version downloaded from SimMarket. Not sure about the patch (vdgs) for c...

Wonderful news!emilios[flytampa] wrote:the installer from simmarket will take care of everything, nothing else needed
So just to confirm the full installer found at SimMarket not only includes the previous fixes for 1.0 but also the two fixes in this thread (afcad and vdgs) for version 1.1?

Re: FlyAmsterdam v1.1
Has the main installer found over at SimMarket been updated to the latest version meaning I'll get 1.1 or do I still need to first install 1.0 and then the 1.1 patch? And then after installing 1.1 will I still need to apply the manual patch found in this thread to stop crashing at the gates or has t...

Re: FlyAmsterdam v1.1
Emilios: could we get some clarification on the texture pack issue? Thanks! the update v1.1 will re-install default textures (ie 2K textures for terminals/jetways/vehicles only); everything else will be standard 1K textures. If you want a different setup, then you will have to run the texture packs...

Re: Light textures pack
Thanks, I've now confirmed I have the light textures pack installed.
From one thing to the next...when will you add the option to have an email notification when a post has been made to a thread you participate in

Light textures pack
Is there an easy way to find out if you installed the light textures pack?
I don't remember if I installed it and I guess I could simply reinstall it but I'm afraid that will force me to reinstall also all the manual fixes so I don't want to do it unless I'm sure I didn't already install it.

Re: Sticky: Central fixes topic
It was already confirmed a new installer will be released but I guess they like to have as much as possible included in this new installer so they don't need to release yet another installer shortly thereafter. I guess this is how it mostly works, issues are identified and fixed and an update is the...

Re: Amsterdam Texture Packs
No problem and thank you for your kind words. I do try to help people out whenever I can and I hope you'll be able to find a way around your issues or even better of course for FT to find the main culprit.

Re: Amsterdam Texture Packs
No problem. I do understand where you're coming from and just like you I hope FT will be able to find out what is the main culprit behind the high VAS consumption for this new scenery. The only point I've been trying to make is that if/when you're tired of spending your valuable spare time trouble-s...

Re: Amsterdam Texture Packs
In many ways I agree with you. However when it comes to the version of P3D certainly a developer couldn't/shouldn't tell the customers they can't use the latest version of P3D. I on the other side is not the developer and I'm only trying to help anyone with VAS issues because I know from own experie...

Re: Amsterdam Texture Packs
Sure, this new scenery consumes lots of VAS but it's possible to fly into Amsterdam without any issues if using P3Dv3.2. I've done this multiple times now and this is with lots of Vatsim online traffic on top of all other add-ons I have installed such as all the global Orbx products including Vector...

Re: Sticky: Central fixes topic
Oh boy I'm looking forward to an updated installer including all the fixes.
Although I'm very impressed with the prompt support always offered by FT I do find it a bit messy to manually hunting down all fixes hoping you didn't miss any of them discussed in some other thread you overlooked.
