Re: 737 autopilot and is FSX time slower then real time?

Copied from my AVSIM post: Correct. Flight Aware is for US (domestic, international in/out). For other countries domestic you need to go to those sites: I.E: http://www.ead.euroc.../index.php.html http://www.eurofpl.eu/ http://www.ais.org.u...1&Itemid=2.html http://aviadocs.net/AIP/html/eng.htm http...

I thought there was a freeware EGE at Avsim a while ago. I think I installed it on my system. At work now, but I'll check the library.

Edit: It's there, but quite a bit dated now...lol. Man out of the loop for a while in the sim I guess, at least since the last time I flew EGE in the sim. :?

Haha, this is a good one!

I'd say...if he was coming through Kansas City (KMCI)...AND...had lunch at the Gates BBQ in the terminal...then I'd give it to him. :P

Here's a link to the VOR Approach Plate taken from VATSIM's Carribean page. http://www.sjucerap.org/downloads/TNCM_VORDME09.pdf The VATSIM Pilot Resource Center also has great stuff for learning to fly approaches. I understand there also is GPS approach, but you probably need a Jepp's subscription t...

Ah yeah for FS9, good luck, I'm in the same boat. The general consenses is that it may come from ultimate Terrain somewhere according to their developers or an alussive issue between AIRAC cycles and the actual scenery BGL's. Even the ACES team saw some relationship there, but were never able to pos...

I'm not arguing with you personally, sorry if you got that impression, nor do I want to give you the impression that you are giving false statements. That's between you and PAAVO. I'm just trying to put some perspective to the whole issue. The topic goes a bit deeper then what you ware refering to, ...

Ruahrc, The only reason why customers care about backwards compatibility is because we told them to as a justification or reason on our procedures for making our exisiting "models" work in the next new version using old SDKs'. I hope you understand the difference here, because, it sounds like you ar...

Yeah, I remember those days also....lol. I feel sorta the same way you do but for different reasons. FSX is actually a good sim, but...lots a reasons, no need to did all that up again. You also can't compare FS to Crysis as much as we wish we could. Those 2 are just apples and oranges even though yo...

Paavo, A new sim from the ground up is a whole different argument from what we're talking about...or, were talking about. Eventually, yes, a new re-write WILL have to happen, because there's always someone else out there just waiting, or developing a new one, in the wings. When and if ACES does that...

ROFL, unbelievable...it doesn't matter how many times we've said it even when it's been right under the posters nose... In the beginning, IT WASN'T (that's short for WAS NOT) BACKWARDS COMPATIBILITY that we needed or wanted. As a matter of fact, backwards compatibility does not keep us moving forwar...

What is better about modeling based upon a round earth? It is better mainly because it is RIGHT. I have only recently gotten into flight simulation, FSX being my first non-combat flight sim, and I was astounded to learn that MSFS prior to FSX was based on a flat earth. A simulation that purports to...
