Re: Prepar3DV4 Compatibility Updates
I asked this twice before
: can we expect another update to LOWW that fixes the crashes at night?
Thanks,
Jan

Re: Prepar3DV4 Compatibility Updates
Why all the question about native installers are being ignored? At least say, NEVER or We don't have any idea, but answer something... Your answer is on page one of this very thread: great job, but are you going to update the installers as well? At some point yes, but probably not anytime soon. Bes...

Re: Prepar3DV4 Compatibility Updates
Just to bring the Vienna night crash issue up again: Are you working on fixing it? Just want to make sure this doesn't get lost
.
Thanks,
Jan

Re: Prepar3DV4 Compatibility Updates
For what it's worth: I also have crashes in Vienna at night with the patch. Without it the scenery doesn't crash at night, but of course I have grass peeling through the ground textures and runways missing. I had uninstalled Vienna completely and then done a fresh install (with and without the patch...

Re: Prepar3DV4 Compatibility Updates
Hence the question: Are there any sceneries that install anything outside the \Prepar3D v3\FlyTampa folder? Some install files in /scenery/world/scenery, labeled in a obvious way. Most install FX into Effects (along with the /Effects/texture subfolder). Some install AI ships into /Simobjects/Boats....

Re: Prepar3DV4 Compatibility Updates
Since P3D v3 I had installed most of my sceneries outside the P3D root folder (even on an extra drive) and point to these outside folders with the HardLinkShell Extension (which basically creates a virtual link from the P3D main folder to the outside folder). Works flawlessly. So, I would like to ke...

Re: Manually adding Autogen XML entries
Good morning, first off - many thanks for a great scenery :). I also use FTX trees and haven't made the change to the default.xml yet. Quick Q: Is it even possible to use your AMS trees in AMS if I have FTX trees or will they always be overwritten by FTX Trees no matter if I make the changes to defa...

Re: HiTex - High Resolution Texture Pack
Hello,
just as a quick note: the Hi Texture Pack installs in the old Addon-Scenery\Flytampa-Copenhagen structure. No big deal, but perhaps worth an update at some point. One can always manually move the textures in the correct folder.

Re: Nov 2015 - Updated Airports (FSX and Prepar3D V3)
I suggest removing the previous versions by deleting the entries in the Scenery Library and removing the folders/files. The new versions do ask for the Root FSX or P3D folder and they do install into root/FlyTampa/Airport/ (instead of previous /Addon Scenery/FlyTampa-Airport/ Just let them install ...

Re: Nov 2015 - Updated Airports (FSX and Prepar3D V3)
Hi there, Thanks for the v3 installers! I have actually installed my FlyTampa scenery already using the v3 installation guide. It's currently in a folder outside the P3D installation folder as advised. How should I go about installing the updated versions? [...] James Hello FT, many thanks for prov...

Re: Prepar3D V3 Installation Guide
Don't keep Addon Effects separate and just dump them into root/effects every time or.... Keep them separate, but always copy the whole root/effects/texture/ folder to Addon/effects/texture to insure the Addons' FX files have access to default FX-textures if needed. Probably half of Addon FX I have ...

Re: Prepar3D V3 Installation Guide
Thanks. I couldn't get it to work, but then - it's not super important. Would be a nice to have, but perhaps FT is going to make it P3D native at some point
.

Re: Prepar3D V3 Installation Guide
Interesting re the snow effect. Didn't even try since it said "FSX only"
. How did you get them to work in v2.5?
