KBOS P3D 2.5
Greetings, I installed KBOS into P3D. The installer could not find FSX. The install routine offered to allow me to install into a folder of my choice. Very good! I have created a batch file to fool installers into thinking that FSX is installed. I seem to be missing something. Could you possible tel...

Configurator
I changed my month in the configurator from March to April. I reopened a flight at CYYZ and noticed there was still snow on the ground. OK, it's been a nasty early spring in the Toronto area :o I closed the simulator and changed the month to May. Still have snow. When changing the months, there was ...

Re: OOM before airport fully loads P3D 2.5
Yeah I saw the disabling external model thing. Its a little bit much for me. Seriously for the money we are spending on these addons, we should not required to be disabling features we paid for so that we can utilize the product. I was able to run all these addons in FSX with DX10 tweaker without a...

Re: OOM before airport fully loads P3D 2.5
Did you guys try disabling RAAS in dll.xml? That saves bout 150MB when using the 777. If you are really adventurous, you could disable the external view of the aircraft. Bye bye OOM, but at a high immersion cost. EDIT 1: Regarding LOD radius: yes 4.5 is the default. I was able to turn down both the ...

Re: OOM before airport fully loads P3D 2.5
I'd like to post my experience in case it will help. Currently, I am at gate 174, in the PMDG 777-200 with 23 frames per second and 1.10 GB of VAS remaining. Tweaks OPTIMIZE_PARTS=1 FIBRE_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION=0.15 UseGlobalTerrainView=True Disabled PMDG addon RAAS Pro in dll.xml Settings Graphics FXA...

Re: Jet Bridge
Please let me check, but I think it only happens when retracting. I use P3D. Am at 2.5 with latest hotfix. Will check again and report.
EDIT: I can confirm that, at least with the 777 at gate 174, the parts go missing on retraction only.

Jet Bridge
Greetings, Just wanted to see if I could get a bit of jet bridge bother out of the way. OK...first, brilliant airport. LOD at 2.5 scenry complexity and autogen at normal. Zero shimmering and zero flickering. How the h--l did you do that? I have same concerns as others about address space, but that w...

Re: Animated Jetways
Thanks for this. There are a couple of heavy gates I would like to try and activate. I don't want to sound like a sap, but purchasing your scenery is not only an experience, but also an education. I think I have learned more about scenery in the last couple of days, than the previous 3 years I've be...

Re: Animated Jetways
Sorry but I disagree; I have the 'exits' meticulously set properly in all of my custom AI (AIG) aircraft and usually prepping my own user-aircraft load parameters while all the exits set. Yes, but I assume most users run WoAI etc as-is without exits placed. I definitely do notice a perf impact when...
