No, it's a new install on a formatted drive with a new letter assigned.

No nothing like that. It's the original installer from purchase in January this year which never worked from the start, I just been too busy to troubleshoot.

So I took the opportunity and upgraded Prepar3D from v4.4 to v4.5, and made YSSY as the first and ONLY addon installed... Yes, always from the installer, then the manual copy of the patch. TBH the runway textures are a bigger issue than the black buildings.

I didn't realise Orbx AU2 had installed in between troubleshooting, that explains why the tower textures are back. But other than ORBX, there are no other sceneries. Its a relatively fresh install.
