AI is one of the things I miss about FS2004. I had 342 hand-installed and up-to-date airlines, and now I have 1. It's so hard to install AI into P3D because it's designed for FSX or FS9 and has to be manually migrated. That and AFCADs. There's no good AFD program for P3D to edit airports to suit AI....

When you select EHAM from the Go To Airport menu, do you select the start location from the drop-down box? You should choose a gate, or a runway position.
Often, the 'Default' start location could be wrong, so choose a specific entry.

Best to use dynamic settings that adjust according to local weather conditions.
