There is already a Madeira scenery available from AmSim, which is rather good looking. I doubt if FlyTampa can do much better.
You're making it seem like there is nothing available currently, which isn't the case. The AmSim scenery can be bought on SimMarket and through ORBX.

Re: Amsterdam | MSFS
Oh come on, guessing can be fun and we need to keep occupied while waiting for release.
I'm guessing it's not going to be released this weekend. If it is, I admit defeat by buying it (I'd do that anyway).

This post was made a week ago, no news was presented in what was then the coming days.emilios[flytampa] wrote: ↑Sat Sep 23, 2023 4:09 amIts nearly finalised though, should have news in the coming days.
Also, if you were planning on releasing it late September, you only got a few hours left. September is almost over, tomorrow is October 1st.

Re: Amsterdam | MSFS
The last update was on July 16th that they were testing it. Today is September 18th, over 2 months later. 2 months of testing seems a bit long to me, but maybe they found some issues that need to be resolved before release. Such things can happen after all. But I agree, it would be great to keep inf...

How long does testing take?
Over 5 weeks ago it was announced that EHAM was in testing and shouldn't take much longer. The topic has since been closed for no obvious reason. Of course I don't know what's going on behind the scenes, but I can't help thinking 5 weeks is a bit long for testing. I know from other companies testing...

Re: heathrow
For now they first need to finish Amsterdam, which already took way longer than anticipated. It's almost finished, but it has been almost finished for a long time. After that, who knows? Nothing has been shared yet. In my opinion the IniBuilds scenery is sufficient. Not the best, but good enough. So...

Re: Eham
We are testing Amsterdam for MSFS now, it shouldn't take much longer :) That's great news! However remember what I said, communication. Should it be that during testing you find something that needs to be fixed before release, that's fine. Such things happen. But say so! Just a simple message can d...

Re: Eham
Agreed, the problem is a total lack of communication. That leads to irritation, nothing is as annoying as being left in the dark. Not knowing what's going on. If FlyTampa would simply have given updates every once in a while there wouldn't have been any problem. You need more time? Fine, no problem....

Re: Eham
Theres absolutely no need to rush these kind of projects just because only a handfull of simmers just dont have any patience at all. Just wait, it will be worth it. :) That's not the problem. I don't mind waiting, but I hate waiting in vain. Lately I was getting the impression that I was waiting in...

Re: Eham
By the way, I did a quick comparison. FlyTampa released the X-Plane version of Amsterdam on December 20th, 2022. Ever since then it has been quiet, nothing has been released for all that time. In the meanwhile IniBuilds has released no less than six entire airports. On average they released an airp...

Re: Eham
I agree it's taking way too long. On April 1st they said it wouldn't be much longer, now we're two and a half months further. I'm curious to FlyTampa's definition of "much longer". Or might it be that the airport is changing faster than FlyTampa can develop? Like I said earlier, FlyTampa i...

Re: Eham
It would be great if we could force the ai traffic to land and takeoff on user selected rwy`s. Eham is typicly a mess when it comes to ai and runway selection. That was a problem on earlier versions of FS and P3D but I believe MSFS handles this better. Still, there are some one-way runways in Amste...

OMG!! It says "Fly Tampa - Amsterdam" !!! http://www.flytampa.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=36728 Capture.PNG That doesn't have to mean much. After all the one posting that image is Emilios, one of the developers from FlyTampa. Sure he has access to products that are still in development. Wha...
