Re: Montreal Patch V1.1 [Released Feb 4th 2013]

Well a few minor errors, some of the holds not touching the runway as they should, a large number of "over" coded bays - 5 parking codes should be the maximum ideally and some overlapping nodes that shouldn't be (there are a few that I see why they are, same as a few unconnected nodes). Ov...

Re: Montreal Patch V1.1 [Released Feb 4th 2013]

Thanks George, I just purchased it and am downloading both versions. I'll let you know what I find with the AFCAD/ADE files, if I do publish an update it'll get uploaded to AVSIM/Flightsim.com and announced on my website http://www.realbigtree.com

Re: Montreal Patch V1.1 [Released Feb 4th 2013]

Ok that's basically the same table as that's Reggie Fields personal website so in that case my own personal issue may only be the mil_cargo spots and possibly a few missing ICAO codes that have only just come in to being, Xstrata Nickels RAG code for example whereas before they had no ICAO or callsi...

Re: Montreal Patch V1.1 [Released Feb 4th 2013]

Ok well I think I'll be purchasing this later on today for sure, 30th birthday treat lol. From the first line of your post I am assuming it was yourself who worked on the ADE file, when setting radii did you follow the AIG tables set up in collaboration with Jan Martin and Reggie Fields? They're ava...

Re: Montreal Patch V1.1 [Released Feb 4th 2013]

Assuming that ALL spots are coded ramp_mil_cargo then yes you are technically correct however I assume that there are also GA coded spots and possibly regular cargo spots? If not then things have to be very carefully set up with radius and with parking codes and any gates with no parking codes (wise...

Re: Montreal Patch V1.1 [Released Feb 4th 2013]

This is curious. I have downloaded and installed Patch v 1.1 but no change in FSX nor P3D. I downloaded correct FSX/P3D version and installed in correct root folder. Everything still shows up s Military ....... Any ideas? Rolf The MIL CARGO spots were only removed in FS9. They have to stay in FSX u...

Re: Toronto Pearson CYYZ

Yeah YYZ from FlyTampa would be pointless with the OryxSim version on the horizon and looking excellent - https://www.facebook.com/OryxSim - but a City Center airport would be very nice or even something like London or Kitchener.

Re: Ground Textures

Thanks for the reply, George and the team must do some serious post-processing to the images as terraserver while supposedly giving 0.3m to 0.5m pixel resolution depending on where I look the images aren't very crisp or "colourful", indeed washed out for the area I want would be more appro...

Re: Ground Textures

Sadly I already know that and sadly I've yet to find any free to access sources better than GeoBase. The only other "free" images are only available to university students, from what I can find anyway which is why I figured I'd ask George and the team as I doubt they use a payware source d...

Ground Textures

Hi George and Team, I'm wondering what source do you use to make your high resolution ground textures? I'm currently wanting to have a go at making some smaller Canadian airports for my sim that no-one in the payware world would for obvious reasons ever consider and I can't find any sources approach...
