Finally the culprit was the file cvxATHENSKML.bgl.
As soon as it was disabled, the issue was gone.
It's a wonder that nobody else running P3Dv5.2HF1 did notice it.

As I am new to P3Dv5, could you please give me instructions of how to install Athens on that platform ?
I started the installer and it says to install in root P3D folder contrary to suggestions of P3D readme.
Is this way valid ?

If there is nothing to suggest, please advise in order to install v1.2.
IMHO v1.6 has to be revamped as several users reported that "flickering".

Either with or without photoscenery files there are the same results.

If the ORBX terrain produces the fault, how come there are no issues when installing v1.2 ?

Another issue with v1.6.
All runways, taxiways and ramp flickering intensively after crossing altitude 2000ft above the airport.
Tried all suggestions in this forum unsuccessfully.
Help from authors is requested, otherwise I am evaluating roll-back to the stable v1.2.

I found why is this : Sadly the other part is in the AFX file.
I now have to remake all four AFD files for that airport....

I bought FlyTampa LGAV back in 2011 and now I can't upgrade to v1.6 FSX due to the above reason.
BMT micro requires an updated password for that. Could you be of help ?
