The brightness setting indeed changes the texture.True dark at night looks dull in the day, so i guess its about finding the middle ground.

Hello, I recently re-installed P3D after being away from flight simulation for about 6 months. I installed Dubai, and i noticed that the ground textures seem too bright. Maybe someone can confirm that they really do look like this, but i remember them being dark besides the area around the terminal....
