I got WE for FS9 and no problems observed at all.
AFAIK it doesn't mess with scenery textures. Maybe the water textures in FSX are affected.

On my system (using SkAI) they appear around 2 or 3 pm local time.
Haven't seen a KLM 744 still though. Only an Air Transat 330, Corsair 747 and AF 340 yet.

I had the same problem at TNCM and found out that some files in the Fly to Caribe was causing the problem.
