Re: Next Airport?
George and Martin, sorry if I seem like a debbie downer, just adding my two cents in to the conversation at hand. I hope times get better for you guys, you've been a landmark FS developer and revolutionized the FS world. Hopefully you never forget how much of a positive impact you've made upon the c...

Re: Next Airport?
I'd put up a vote for RSW, a very nice new terminal, I'm not aware of a good payware for it. (though I have been inactive in FS for a while.) A couple of cents on the drop in sales: 1. Megahubs obviously appeal to a much wider customer base than smaller airports. 2. I know for me the lack of a new F...

Why don't they post previews and updates? Because, it seems, that groups that did post them didn't last. And groups like FlyTampa seem to survive because they have interest in what they do first, and commercial interest second. If they are happy with what they create, then they will be ready to rele...

kmsp_ils_v1.1.zip on avsim. Hell of a freeware scenery right there. I disagree. It may be a better than the default scenery, but that's not saying much. Heck, the best scenery out there for MSP is MSP2000, still on avsim. But it's out of date, a frame rate hogger, and doesn't size correctly into FS...

That is exactly what this otherwise useless debate is about. There is a "huge" lobby of developers already out there, not just me and those who posted here in this forum, pretty much every other payware dev you can think of. I have indeed been talking to developers I never had reason to talk to bef...

What I like best about it sofar: http://www.microsoft.com/games/flightsimulatorx/flash/default.htm The Flash moves!, You can "play it". Sky looks nice and it runs pretty fast too. Just kidding :D Actually, Martin, looking at that Flash shows us exactly what they were doing with FSX: making it look ...

You should definitely pursue this. What makes people buy your sceneries is the amazing quality of them. And the textures are huge part of that. If you let them go off with using your textures, that's like losing your quality advantage over other products, and ultimately the money that could go to yo...

Ocean? I don't remember hearing about a designer named "Ocean." If so, please link me to them. I have the hunch that MSP will be one of the sceneries designed during the FSX reign, as in the next two years. Just a personal hunch, no actual information behind it whatsoever. Looking at the FSX beta pr...
