Re: Very Low FPS on REBOOT KBOS
- I don't use AI. Absolutely nothing. - I run P3D on a dedicated SSD. - It's not in the Programs folder Etc. But again, the whole discussion is pointless. If I had issues everywhere, then sure, I definitely must look into my way of running P3D. Really. But I don't have any issues at all, at any scen...

Re: Very Low FPS on REBOOT KBOS
You certainly haven't done an awful job. KBOS looks stunning. However, performance wise it is way worse than any other scenery that I own and I see no reason why. I understand that the suburbs spread out 15 miles or more but Boston isn't the only city with suburbs that spread out that far. Autogen i...

Re: Very Low FPS on REBOOT KBOS
It's very easy (and very professional, cough, cough...) to "LOL" upon a customer that purchased your product instead of looking for ways of fixing the issue. Basically, you grabbed a crappy default scenery for comparison from one certain angle. This isn't proof for anything. I tested witho...

Re: Very Low FPS on REBOOT KBOS
Reducing everything because of one scenery should not be consideted and accepted as a solution. There are way more complex areas in the world of flight simulation with just as detailed scenery add-ons covering them yet they perform well. San Francisco and the Bay Area is a similar environment yet I ...

Re: Toronto 1.5 (Prepar3D V4 only)
Guys, just downloaded the new version of CYYZ - a scenery that used to be quite rough on my system. I still loved it very much simply because I love Toronto (and Canada in general) but flying there, especially during dusk and dawn was a challenge, my FPS often fell into the low teens, and taxiing in...

Re: Performance
Well. Even after the newest update, KBOS is horrible when it comes to performance. In fact I did not gain a single FPS, despite the prognosis of +10 FPS here and +2-3 FPS there, if that was true I should now have a stable 35 FPS but it's not the case and to be honest I never even had high hopes when...

Re: Performance
Thank you for your response. Aerosoft Heathrow is maxed out - I mean every box has been ticked in its configuration utility and it runs smooth as silk. As for Boston, I have already switched off 3D people, did not gain a single FPS to be honest so I find these "extra 10 FPS gain" like stat...

Re: Performance
Dynamic reflection turned off - got an extra 2-3 FPS. In the PMDG 747, spawning on RWY 33L I got around 27-30 FPS. In the FSL A320, I got 23-35 FPS. For comparison, I then placed the PMDG 747 to Flightbeam KSFO, 40-45 FPS, LVFR KMIA 41-47 FPS, T2G EDDM 48-56 FPS, Aerosoft EGLL 30-35 FPS. The perform...

Re: Performance
I can confirm that something is indeed NOT right with KBOS as the performance is simply awful. I have been using Prepar3D v4.2 and Windows 10. My rig is quite powerful, I7 6700K 4.6GHz, MSI Geforce GTX 1070 8GB GDDR5, 16GB DDR4 Corsair Vengeance 2666 MHz RAM, 750GB SSD, 1TB HDD. No FPS issues anywhe...

Saldo - if PMDG, FTX LC/Vector and "heavy" settings are doing perfectly fine elsewhere, it must be FT EHAM that is the issue, I believe...

Re: Huge VAS issue
B777ER, I absolutely agree with every single word! This scenery is useless at the moment unless you delete/deactivate/switch off/roll back/reduce most of your stuff/settings/addons/simulator.

Re: Amsterdam Texture Packs
Thank you very much for your time WebMaximus, you're very kind and to be honest I might even give it a try and roll back at some time to see how it performs. But this should not be an "official" solution to make this particular scenery work. I believe there should be some sort of a "m...

Re: Amsterdam Texture Packs
WebMaximus - I do appreciate you trying to help and I certainly am aware that you are not the developer. I understand that it works or at least worked for you and I do not even want to argue with that. So I apologize if my reply sounded as if I am disrespecting your input. I am of course not, I just...
