I generally close 8R/26L for arrivals and use it solely for departures. I then use 8L/26R and 9/27 for arrivals which generally seems to be the traffic flow I've observed when I've been at MIA. I'll also usually close 12/30 for arrivals and use it for departures only. My traffic flow seems to work p...

I agree 100%, I LOVE MIA! Where else can you see such a variety of traffic?

I'd gladly even pay for an updated MIA!

Certainly an aircraft due for some attention in the FS world. I got a chance to fly one of Rjet's 170s from ORF-ORD this past fall, I was VERY impressed. For a 70 seat aircraft it feels much bigger, it's light years ahead of the CRJ700. Feelthere seems like a logical choice since they did a very nic...

flysiu, go to the downloads section of their website. They updated some of the night tarmac textures. Yeah, the tarmac textures are much better now, it's the night terminal textures that are still subpar for payware. If they improve them, add some sort of detail, they'll be a pretty good bargain. T...

Each release is better than the last, they are getting there. But their night textures for terminal windows are straight out of FS98. If you only do day flying, it may be worth a look. But once the sun goes down, it ain't nearly as pretty. If they can improve their night textures, they'll be a very ...

Actually I've been very happy with the recent releases from IS. And hey, if it is boxy, bland, and generic, then it will be an accurate representation of ATL. :D

Hey now! Don't punish us all for the acts of one! :)

I really hope IS goes with ATL, they seem to be hitting some of the biggies, hopefull KIAH is somewhere on the list as well.

But I think I speak for everyone when I say what we really wanna know is what is in FT's hangar...

Ah my bad, yeah, this part of the world gets very little love. There's all sorts of smaller airports that would make great projects. KCMI, KBMI, KPIA, KEVV. Heck, no one will even do KSTL...

If your looking for MCI, IS just released it, and it is very impressive and not too shabby on the frames...

A Win for FS Niners

Well well well, seems the developers are beginning to realize FS9 isn't dead yet. PMDG did an about-face: MD11 and 737v2 will be FS9 as well. Excellent news.

Agreed, with the end of OSS and Simflyers, the pool of US airport designers has dried up pretty badly. Even FlyTampa is down to one developer so in reality the situation is even worse. I hope FT's next project is something stateside.
